Recurring Weeds
Removing only the visible growth can leave roots and material inside the paving joints.

Pulling the visible weeds is often only a temporary fix. Roots, soil and organic material remain inside the joints, allowing new growth to return.
Removing only the visible growth can leave roots and material inside the paving joints.
Established weeds can disturb joint material and make existing gaps between pavers more noticeable.
Dirt, moss and weed growth can quickly make a large paved area look neglected.
Instead of simply pulling weeds and leaving the joints empty, we can clean and restore the paved area as a complete process.
Check weed growth, paving condition and joint depth.
Water blast the paving and remove loose material.
Apply suitable weed treatment where required.
Sweep fine jointing material deep into the gaps.
Remove excess material and complete the final tidy.
If the main problem is dirt, moss, algae or surface build-up rather than weeds and empty paving joints, our dedicated water blasting service may be all that is required.

A small paving area or single weed-affected section typically starts from here.
Larger paved areas, full sections, driveways or paving with heavy weed regrowth are quoted individually after assessing the area.
What started as heavily weed-affected paving became a much bigger restoration once the joints were properly cleaned.
This large paved area had weeds growing throughout the joints, but the real condition of the paving was difficult to see until the cleaning began. After water blasting removed the surface growth and debris, deep open joints became visible between many of the pavers. The project then moved into weed treatment and joint restoration to create the finished result shown above.

Pulling visible weeds can improve appearance temporarily, but roots, soil and organic material can remain inside the paving joints. A more complete restoration addresses the joints as well as the visible weeds.
