The property originally had no gate on this side. Once children began using the garden, the family wanted to create a safer enclosed outdoor area.
The new timber gate was built to visually match the existing gate on the opposite side of the property. Ravil joined the job as my young apprentice, helping with measuring, cutting and assembly.

The completed gate was properly hinged, trimmed to the required height and fitted with a latch and hand opening for simple everyday use.
