Do you charge for buying materials or parts?
Yes, if we need to source something — say a replacement latch for a broken window, or timber for a fence repair — there's a shopping/delivery fee to cover that trip, rather than charging our full labour rate to drive to a hardware store.
Can I supply my own materials to save money?
Absolutely. If you've already got the parts, fixtures or timber on hand, that removes the shopping fee and material cost from the quote — just let us know when you get in touch.
Is rubbish or green waste removal included?
Not automatically — it depends on the job. For something like a fence repair or garden tidy-up, we'll quote debris removal as a separate line so you can decide whether you want us to haul it away or keep it yourself.
How can I get a lower price?
Supplying your own materials, being flexible on timing, and combining several small jobs into one visit are the easiest ways to bring the cost down. Clear photos and measurements upfront also help us quote accurately the first time — no surprise add-ons later.
